Miriam has been involved in the Massage Profession since 1989. After graduating from the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville, she went on to study Russian Sports Massage, Advanced Sports Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Equine Massage, Infant Massage, Trager® principles, Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release and other modalities. In 1997 she graduated from James Madison University with a degree in “Integrative Wellness and Fitness”.
Miriam is qualified to work with persons who have medical conditions, who are undergoing physical rehab, athletes, persons with chronic or acute pain due to headaches, soft tissue injuries, excessive muscular tension, the elderly and children. She also coaches others who are interested in making changes in their life through wellness and fitness. Her goal is to help your body heal itself and find the balance that promotes health and well being for each individual. Therefore, massage sessions are specialized to meet the need of the client. Since 1993 Miriam has been teaching in private and public schools. She is available for workshops and lectures on the subject of massage, health, wellness and fitness.
